Question about Vow and Covenant
1)
Q: I had vowed that if I had a child, I would name my child Masoumeh. My husband also likes this name, but he left the choice of name to me, saying {name it whatever you want} The truth is that with the devotion I have for Hazrat Masoumeh, hello... but I would like the child to have another name. Now, considering the fact that my wife also left the choice to me and I had also vowed, can I turn a blind eye to this vow? Of course, I had not recited the vow and one night, in my secret and need, I had made this request to Hazrat. Now, what is my duty and what I want?
R: In the name of God, The condition of fairness is that you fulfill your vow and do not seek religious permission. Even if you have not recited the vow. As a solution, you can give your child's official name Masoumeh and another name.
I ask God Almighty for your success.
